A Cool Solution to a Hot Issue
Although Moruya has some great beaches, there are very minimal recreational centres. There are no cinemas or video arcades, only a small old library, no indoor rock climbing or skating rinks, and no other safe places for skating.

Skaters were skating down the main street of town between the traffic, shoppers and pedestrains creating danger to themselves and others.The feeling between the old and younger members of the community was disintergrating and was giving the town an unpleasant atmosphere.

The cool solution to this hot issue was discussed and it was agreed upon that a skatepark would contribute to solving both these problems
